A little bit about our chapter and how valuable your membership can be...
The Humble Artesian Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has a long history in our area. The Humble Charter Chapter was chartered in 1979, and the Artesian Chapter in 1981. The chapters combined their resources in 1989, becoming the Humble Artesian Chapter. The chapter continues to be a wonderful representation of the many businesses and services offered in our area.
Membership in Humble Artesian offers much in networking, education and business growth opportunities. As a part of the American Business Women’s Association, members can readily expand these same opportunities all over the country as well as recognition as Woman of the Year or ABWA’s Top Ten Business Woman. This recognition is wonderful positive reinforcement and a wonderful addition to everyone’s resume. Our chapter has had the great pleasure of honoring two Top Ten Business Women that went on to national recognition.
Women in Business® is a nationally recognized and award-winning publication that has been honored with awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Women in Communications and the International Association of Business Communicators.
The Association's bimonthly national magazine, serves as the primary source of ABWA member and group information, providing updates on Association events and members' activities and accomplishments. The magazine also features informative articles covering a wide-range of business and market relevant topics including excerpts from today's powerful business books. Magazine subscription is included in annual membership dues. Non-members may purchase a subscription for only $24 in the US.
